To best answer the question to everyone's satisfaction you can find them below in no certain order. Each has a unique pricing structure and you will notice that every method begins with a thorough vacuuming which can take up to two hours and ends with an application of a carpet protection. VLM METHOD This is a very common type of cleaning method and is used by the largest carpet cleaning company in the world, ChemDry. After vacuuming, a cleaning solution is sprayed on to the carpet. Using a rotary buffer a soft pile brush is then used to lightly scrub the carpet which helps the cleaning solution to dissolve the dirt and stains. An absorbent cloth pad or bonnet is then used to absorb the cleaning solution, dirt, soil and stains out of the carpet.

ROTARY SHAMPOOING This method is probably the oldest method used in the 20th century. This carpet cleaning method is performed by adding detergent solution or carpet shampoo into the machine which is released onto the carpet through openings in a rotary brush. The rotary action converts the solution into foam and works it into the carpet. We then use a hot water extractor as a rinsing tool to flush the dissolved dirt and chemicals from the carpet. This is one of the most intense ways of cleaning carpet but the results make it well worth the effort.

POWER WAND RINSING Some carpet requires a greater amount of water to be flushed through the carpet. Largely due to years of abuse and neglect standard hot water extraction methods will not by themselves do the job right. We combine the power wand attached to a hot water system with first using the shampoo method and create the the highest level of cleaning performance available today.
